He Puna Waiora meaning "a pool of wellness" is a 46 bed Acute Inpatient Unit designed to provide a high level of flexiblity in the use of acute beds.
There are a number of sensory and comfort rooms with multiple lounges, relaxation and programme spaces for service users.
